Stop Kensington Trucks

Kensington & Epsom Road, are vibrant residential areas in Kensington. Trucks in our area have become a safety concern for many residents. The installation of no truck zones in surrounding suburbs has unfortunately diverted heavy truck traffic through what is primarily a residential area. This increase in truck traffic poses safety risks to the community, especially around sensitive areas such as schools, daycare centres, churches, and recreation centres.

How can you help?

  1. Sign the Petition, this will be presented to the City of Melbourne to help instigate change.
  2. Fill in the Transport Amenity Program Intersection Works. This will help shape permanent traffic measures in North and West Melbourne following the opening of the West Gate Tunnel.
  3. City of Melbourne, as the road owner, have been made aware of this problem, but more local voices talking to CoM will help awareness.
